The Martins {Montgomery, AL Family Portraits}

Warning: what you are about witness is the unveiling of some of the world’s greatest superheroes’ secret identities… and their parents!

Also, you’re about to witness one of the best families we know in the River Region: the Martins. We’ve known them since shortly before we were married. Joe gave me my first job right out of college: Starbucks Shift Supervisor. Since that time, we’ve kept close ties with them, but as you can probably gather, they can be really tough to keep up with! They’re a wonderful testament to familial grace, patience, & perseverance, and when Joe contacted us around Mother’s Day to book a surprise family portrait session as a gift for Brittany, we were over the moon excited. And then came the idea (from Brittany, literally… five minutes later) to photograph the kids in superhero costumes… and then we just exploded with excitement. Thanks to the Martins for being troopers and absolute joys to photograph. It was definitely one of the craziest days of shooting we’ve done with a family so far, but we had a blast and the effort y’all put in was completely worth it!
