Hello, and welcome to Little Acorn Photography! We’re based here in the beautiful, vibrant city of Montgomery, AL. We both graduated from the University of Montevallo, Jackie in 2004 with a BFA in Photography, Luke in 2006 with a BS in History.

Since then, Jackie worked as a professional photographer in a studio setting for nearly five years, first in Birmingham and more recently here in the Capital City, before striking out on her own. As a graphic designer by day, Luke is able to bring his personal sense of composition and “what looks good” to the table when assisting on a shoot.

As a team, we both bring our own experiences and abilities. We were seniors in high school once. We’re married, so we know what “the day” is like. And now with our own newest familial addition, we know what it’s like as parents. It’s a love of sharing and a love of the craft that pushes us and we believe it shows in the work we do.
